Today I came across this simply fabulous duck rice that got so famous by its BRAISED DUCK (Must Try) and its SOUP (Must Try). Ohman. I wonder if there is another such stall around. Noticed I used the word ’stall’. Had lunch at Taman Jurong this afternoon. Now, I’m gonna say this once only. The unit of this stall is #03-152. The stall owner is super friendly and provides free flow of soup. Not being greedy or anything.. But the soup is totally awesome! The braised duck is beautiful. Moistured tender meat without any duck stench. The best part.. You don’t find it oily at all. YES. Absolutely no oily feeling from eating it (I’m a very sensitive gauge for oily stuff). The skin can be easily removed. It is not those stubborn fats. They provide the normal white rice or the traditional yam cube rice (Must Try). Delicious and economical.
When you are there, you can really see that most of the people.. are there for DUCK.
Truly nice experience of (5/5)… heck the weather and bring those 3-pulp tissues for yourself, roll up that damn sleeves and sit down just for the DUCK.. And OH. Compliment that with a huge glass of fresh lime with sour plum (SGD$1) from the drink stall besides it. Wholly Yummy.
