Park Connector ECP - Changi Beach

State: Smiles.

What a nice weather! I had great fun doing virtual-running-in-the-air this morning! Its really a good day to do sports.. just that ahh must be cladded in SPF.

I cycled with besty few weeks ago and it was like for the first time I apply sunblock on my face to go cycling. =.= Basically due to little thoughts here and there this time, walkergal decided to play ’safe’ while having fun in sports!

Truely a lovely morning to start with. Waited for Barnabas outside at McCafe and soon to WalkerGal’s horror, realization came and its actually a place of hangouts by people with PETS. Ok.. I’m not against pets or something.. just kinda worried that they might just love me too much??

Fine.. I’m scared of dogs and cats.. in fact whatever animals that have fur… Not that I don’t appreciate PETS alright? They are all pretty as human as us. In fact at times, they can be more human than the humans around us.. So, WalkerGal ended up waiting in Mac Donald instead. Seriously I used to think that cyclists will have huge thighs.. you know, working out the thighs mainly in cycling. But I guess I’m wrong. They have nice thighs. Really nice legs. Haha!

So basically Barnabas came along @ 0920 and that put a stop to the ‘Appreciating toned thighs’ session. Hur.. And so we went to rent our bikes and its really good bikes @ $6 per hour. The really super bikes are going @ $10 per hour and WalkerGal really don’t think there is a need to use those bikes. Plus with the promotion of 1-for-1 hour… what a steal! ;)

After today, WalkerGal basically knows the way to Changi Beach all the way from ECP. Its really nice paths throughout.. Minimal slopes.. Basically its really to enjoy the beautiful nature all around you. As we cycled towards the end of ECP, thats where WalkerGal would say Ahhhhhhh… Truely nice and tranquil place.. Good for picnics.. Nice tall trees of good sheltering. Hur.. But of course we did not stop to rest.. It was continuous cycling most of the time. As we got to return the bikes on time, we U-turned at about 1 more km to reach Changi Beach. Guess what time we returned our bikes? 1140. We started at 0930 actually. Haha.. late for 10 mins!!

Anyways, I’m clearly impressed with the cycling route. Safety aspects wise - 90%

I would say that real challenge of this stretch of PCN would be the length of distance to conquer. Clearly, it all depends on one’s determination to keep the butt moving. Haha! If one is to add in appreciating the nature in, then its definitely better to pay for 2 hours and get another 2 hours free. :)
